Description



Recreational Therapist - Recreational Therapy Department working at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, employed by Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center



Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the Recreational Therapist plan, direct, and coordinate recreation programs for people with disabilities or illnesses to assist with maintaining or improving the patient's physical and emotional well-being. The Recreational Therapist will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.

Required Qualifications:




  • Coursework/Training: Graduated from an accredited Recreational Therapy program.


  • Upon hire: Washington Recreational Therapist Registration


  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Recreational Therapist experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
