Provides engineering and design services to manufacturing and engineering groups. Assists with developing concepts, designs and details for machines, tools, fixtures, and products. Under direct supervision, responsible for aiding in the design and development of new products which have limited scope and complexity, which support developmental/DePuy goals and objectives. Can be part of a development team and may aid in coordinating prototype production and solving design related problems. Performs all aspects of job demonstrating the J&amp;J Standards of Leadership.</p><p></p><h2><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b></h2><ul><li>Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.</li><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar discipline</li><li>Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.</li><li>familiarity with working in a regulated industry, communications skills, experience working in cross-functional teams, working with surgeons, good documentation practices</li><li>Experience in Shoulders or Joint replacement</li><li>Experience with Computer Aided Design software</li><li>Manufacturing engineering experience, tolerance analysis</li><li>Microsoft Office tools</li></ul><p></p><p>The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate&#39;s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year.
