Join us in developing treatments, finding cures, and pioneering the path from lab to life while championing patients every step of the way.</p><h2>About Transcend</h2><p>Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one clean ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.</p><p>The program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from seven systems to one, standardizing processes to create a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that enables agility and scalability across the business.</p><p>Additionally, Transcend will remediate end-of-life system exposure expected toward the end of this decade, reducing risk while enabling long-term sustainability.</p><h2>Role Purpose</h2><p>The Functional Deployment Lead – Customer Excellence is accountable for the global deployment of order management and Customer Excellence capabilities within the Transcend SAP S/4HANA program. This role ensures seamless integration between Manufacturing sites and peripheral commercial systems while maintaining compliance and global process standardization.</p><p><br />As a people manager, this role leads a team of functional SMEs and analysts, owning functional delivery, workload prioritization, and execution quality, while remaining sufficiently hands-on to support detailed execution when required.</p><h2>Major Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h2><h3>Global Functional Ownership &amp; Deployment</h3><p>·       Own the global deployment of Customer Excellence processes, including order management between Manufacturing and commercial systems.</p><p>·       Lead solution confirmation with Global Template Owners, ensuring adherence to approved global designs and regulatory requirements.</p><p>·       Ensure Customer Excellence solutions follow SAP Clean Core principles and avoid unnecessary custom development.</p><h3>Leadership &amp; Team Management</h3><p>·       Directly manage functional SMEs and analysts, owning workload planning, prioritization, and quality of deliverables.</p><p>·       Provide functional leadership and coaching across the domain.</p><p>·       Act as the primary functional escalation point within Transcend deployments.</p><p>·       Have Global and Business focus and mindset with sound reasoning in all activities including managing escalation of issues and business risks, developing solutions and risk mitigation strategies</p><h3>Solution Delivery, Testing &amp; Hypercare</h3><p>·       Oversee functional design validation, configuration reviews, and integration readiness.</p><p>·       Lead functional execution during testing phases and support validation activities in alignment with GxP and SDLC expectations.</p><p>·       Own functional support during hypercare, ensuring stable operations and issue resolution.</p><h3>Cross-Functional Collaboration</h3><p>·       Collaborate with other Functional Deployment Leads to ensure end-to-end process integration.</p><p>·       Partner with IT, system integrators, validation, and change management teams.</p><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2><h3>Required</h3><p>·       A minimum of six years of professional experience required.</p><p>·       University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or business discipline.</p><p>·       Strong functional expertise within the relevant domain in a GxP-regulated environment.</p><p>·       Proven people management experience with accountability for functional delivery.</p><p>·       Hands-on capability with SAP S/4HANA processes relevant to the domain.</p><p>·       Business knowledge of areas such as Supply Chain, Operations, Collections, Sales &amp; Marketing, e-Commerce required</p><p>·       Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates required</p><p>·       People management and ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment required</p><p>·       Strong customer focus (internal &amp; external), including development and management of stakeholders required. Ability to effectively lead and govern functional decision-making bodies required</p><h3>Preferred</h3><p>·       Expert knowledge of JJIM Deliver business processes/requirements preferred</p><p>·       Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry experience.</p><p>·       Prior involvement in global ERP transformations.</p><p>·       Experience designing, developing, implementing, a business process decomposition or blueprint preferred</p><p></p><p>Other</p><p></p><p>Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally.</p><p></p><p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
