College/Department Information
The Division of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) provides support and leadership through planning, assessment, data analysis & reporting, performance monitoring & improvement, and project management. The practical and collaborative services drive overall organizational improvements in quality, responsiveness, and efficiency for internal and external stakeholders.
Job Summary
The program coordinator provides coordination for assigned programs within Institutional Effectiveness (accreditation, planning and assessment, project management, faculty credentialing, special projects, and other initiatives; for IE processes, communications, and resources; and for IE applications. Coordinates services and processes pertaining to planning and assessment, comprehensive program review, regional and specialized accreditation, project management, institutional research, change management, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
COORDINATES RELATED SPECIAL PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES: Coordinates program activities within Institutional Effectiveness and external stakeholders. Initiates, plans, implements, and monitors projects and initiatives. Prepares documents and supporting materials (e.g., reports, timelines, charters, agendas, action minutes, and decisions, etc). Plans and executes logistics for major meetings and events. Manages mass communications about programs, projects, and processes. Serves as the first point of contact to customers for the program and various initiatives, operations, and activities within division offices.
COORDINATES INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS, PROCESSES, COMMUNICATION: Manages standard operating procedures, including inventories, schedules, cycles, and status reports for regularly occurring processes. Coordinates training events and maintains course materials. Prepares documents and supporting materials (e.g., graphical depictions, spreadsheets, templates, forms, etc.). Manages the documentation resulting from committees led and/or supported by Institutional Effectiveness. Update the websites of Institutional Effectiveness offices. Monitors, responds to, or routes correspondence from IE Resources email accounts.
IMPLEMENTS AND MANAGES INFORMATION SYSTEM APPLICATIONS: Develops and maintains standard operating processes to continually meet customer expectations. Troubleshoot application problems and content errors. Manages updates and enhancements to applications. Provides one-on-one and group training in application use. Produces basic reports and distributes to appropriate parties. Manages access control and user permissions. Serves as the primary interface with application vendors. Manages applications' web landing pages. Serves as the first point of contact for applications to customers, division staff, and vendors
PROVIDES ASSISTANCE WITH DIVISION OPERATION: Troubleshoots technical and maintenance issues. Supports management of the division's human and financial resources. Helps organize and maintain the division's supplies and equipment. Serves as backup phones and reception, only as needed. All other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study and a minimum of one year experience in a related field OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study and a minimum of three years in a related field OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study and a minimum of five years' experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with interacting with professionals from a variety of backgrounds and levels. Demonstrated experience assisting with comprehensive, organization-wide projects or processes. Demonstrated experience supporting a team or committee.

Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
ABILITIES Ability to maintain confidentiality and multitask. Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting deadlines. Ability to plan and implement events associated with IE programs. Ability to capture complex discussions and translate them into action items. Ability to perform basic statistical calculations (i.e., means, frequencies, etc.). Ability to work independently, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and exercise good judgment.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; M-F (Work outside of the standard business hours may be required)
Pay Band: B8
Salary: $45,400/annually-$48,380.80/annually
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
