IT Services Consultant - FDIC

This team includes an exciting portfolio of programs comprised of building and supporting technical solutions to foster customer mission success - from service delivery to large-scale supply chains, mission support, cloud, AI/ML, cyber security, data analytics and more. Our work depends on an IT Services Consultant to build strategy, provide operational excellence, and help position GDIT as a strategic partner with Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). As a Strategic Initiatives Manager, you will promote GDITs brand awareness, manage new programs, and position. GDIT as a strategic delivery partner. The ideal candidate has relationships with key FDIC decision makers in the FDICs Business Lines and/or CIO organizations at the Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Director and Senior Manager levels, as well as experience successfully managing major programs at the FDIC. You will help GDIT continue to grow and expand new business areas, meet emerging mission needs, provide leadership and foster a high performing team environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Interface with the FDIC leadership to align GDIT capabilities and strengths to meet mission needsDevelop and leverage relationships with key decision makers and influencersStrengthen alignment of GDIT organizational capabilities to client needsDevelop and lead program teams to develop a collaborative team cultureProviding leadership across the new business development lifecycle - from opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development through the post-submission phase of the Capture process.Participate in all phases of the capture and growth life-cycle, providing the voice of the customer, including reviews and proposal and content development REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to obtain relevant FDIC clearancesBachelors Degree or equivalent, 10+ years of progressive Federal Civilian leadership experienceCandidates must have in-depth leadership experience supporting programs at the FDICProven experience driving culture change and leading a dynamic mission-focused teamsStrong strategic development and implementation experience, directing large teamsExperience with federal proposal processes, delivery and executionProven aptitude for teaching, coaching and mentoringTelework position, local to the DC metro area and ability to travel to customer sites, as needed, is required DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS:Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers P/PM Senior Level 3 (FAC P/PM)Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP) WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:Entrepreneurial, flexible and dynamic environment with the ability to make a difference401K with company matchDiverse, collaborative teams of highly motivated critical thinkers and innovatorsChallenging work that makes a real impact on the world around youInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career
